E l October 24, 2009 was reinstated as a member of the English Socialist Workers Party, Mariano Matthew Moreno, MP for Andalusia during the government of the Republic, who was released from the card, when in 1946 the PSOE decided to expel Juan Negrin and over 30 co-religionists.
In the ceremony held on Saturday, Negrin and his 35 comrades were reinstated s (posthumously) as party members.
Among the descendants of those, there is Liberty Moreno Pardo aunt, a cousin of my grandmother, who also traveled in the "Mexique" in 1939, and has come to Madrid Mexico to receive the card of his father's socialist.
A day earlier, I was proud to accompany her to the Congress of Deputies of Spain for a visit, in which, among other wonders, we had the opportunity to see the original copy of the English Constitution of December 9, 1931.
