My most recent involvement in the Mexican cinema was in this funny short. A satirical homage to the genre. Directed by Iñaki Legaspi (winner Ariel for his characterizations in the film "Kilometre 31") and Maribel Cuevas.
MONCHIZ is the brief history of Iker, comic antihero, skinny and withdrawn, that after a zombie invasion in town forced to confront their most skilled tool: a wrench 15 kilos (Iker worked in a hardware store )
Accompanied by a beautiful heroine (Louise Brown), who lives secretly in love-and a tex-mex semiheroe armed with hammers (Alfredo Herrera), seeks to combat the wave of zombies that beset them on all sides. However, his colleagues succumb to the great battle that rages in a neighborhood convenience store. Iker will face as the sole survivor of a pack of angry zombies "Pacheco", which will end up feeling "MONCHIZ" your side ...
