Without doubt, the policy is part (like it or not) of the material that makes up the artist's vision. Or at least should be. I clearly remember some lessons and living theater, "in which lovable teachers stressed the need for us to live aware of today: " You can not create without taking into account that most closely touches our daily lives, we are first people, then artists. "
Madrid is a city where I lived for over five years. A city that I learned to know, enjoy and sometimes suffer. No easy life abroad. It is not easy trying to break through as an artist in another culture. But when you have been joys and hardships, disappointments and triumphs, laughter and crying in a strange land, we inevitably feel that this place belongs to us and somehow, in a place very near the heart.

As an immigrant, in those years, I was denied interfering in politics, voting etc. But that did not stop coming into contact with social reality, as an immigrant or not, live each day in your work, in streets with friends, in our everyday relations with people.
In Madrid, I experienced firsthand the intolerant immigration policies of the Popular Party, lived days of confusion, fear and helplessness before the terrorist attacks of Atocha, Santa Eugenia and El Pozo, I witnessed popular demonstrations as "No War" and "Never Again (Prestige case)" and saw how the PSOE became the government in a wave of enthusiasm and hope for change.
Madrid interest me as much as my native city. I that a city is its people. And people, voters or not, deserves respect, respect for his intelligence, his ability to analyze and interpret their environment, respect you decide; respect to protest, denounce and express opinions about their leaders when they fail to meet fully its functions .
Madrid, which has been my home for those five years, now lives a disputed election, after the scandal sparked by the debate of candidates for the PSOE, Miguel Sebastian, and the PP, Alberto Ruiz Gallardon.

Madrid, which has been my home for those five years, now lives a disputed election, after the scandal sparked by the debate of candidates for the PSOE, Miguel Sebastian, and the PP, Alberto Ruiz Gallardon.
At the debate, issued May 16 by English TV, it was clear that the current mayor, Ruiz Gallardon chose, astutely, to divert attention to specific questions "turning the tables" to be the victim of a "personal attack" when asked about Miguel Sebastian about his relationship with indicted by the case, "Malaya" . Gallardón not appear to realize that other citizens, other than their opposition PSOE, ordinary citizens can apply the same civic and political reasoning that Sebastian and asks how he did.
Days earlier, the dirty war against the election campaign of Miguel Sebastian, had sparked a scandal when the ex-president the National Securities Market Commission (CNMV), Manuel Conthe, claimed that when Sebastian ran the Economic Office of the Presidency of the Government, it orchestrated a campaign to remove cloudy amid the chairman of BBVA. To date no concrete evidence has been provided and there is nothing to prove the alleged guilt feacientemente Sebastian.
With this background, Madrid must now choose between a mayor-candidate beating victim, who was indebted to the city with its urban megalomania (such as the M-30), and a candidate with social proposals , creating areas for living and improving the quality of life of ordinary citizens, whose "greatest mistake" was to challenge the current mayor about his relations with suspected criminals.
I would think that Madrid, that city in the distance still feel close, will be able to imagine today a new governance paradigm, where the important again be your people, not preferential treatment for entrepreneurs eager building land. I believe that the influence of television, the manipulation of information and ad nauseam, will not make a dent in the honest voters, who seek real change, but that led to discouragement, confusion and apathy cause dirty campaigning, could abstain or choose the "devil you know is better than good to know."
Go
a hug from Madrid to Madrid also believe that change is possible, to those who believe that Madrid is made up of people, not concrete and parking meters.
