Due to some problems I have with Blogger able to embed the video of the play MACBETH F51.4 in the previous post, so I created this new one.

RITUAL
To McDuff interior construction of my character in a scene that I left work in the trials. The director offered me a "ritual" of preparing to confront Macbeth. The title "F51.4 MACBETH" denotes the nature of psychopathy identified in psychiatric international code on the index F51.4 as "terrors night ". Individuals suffering from this disease have difficulty sleeping and constant hallucinations that end up destroying the ability of rest. Based on this idea we made the character of each character. The kingdom is in Candle and the only remedy is to annihilate the "spell" that has settled over Scotland with the arrival of Macbeth to power.
The weapons of war were daily sharps (axes, knives, sickles, pitchforks etc.). Elements close to any citizen, denoting the danger or the "double edge" behind the psyche of every human being ("Freudian" apart).

For the costumes, working with collective proposals and suggestions Benani Kenza costumer, but later was I who gave a definitive line to the clothing (on all the male characters). We talked about the decadent aesthetic we wanted, but also a point that we needed to bring us to the contemporary without rubbing in the obvious. We decided to work with leather, so for weeks we were collecting used clothing of this material. At this point I decided to study the traditional costumes of the Scots warriors of the time. With this inspiration I took an old leather jacket that my friend Richard gave me the day I left Barcelona to search for life in Madrid. It was a subject dear to me for all the implications that had, for joining me in the first, difficult weeks of my arrival in this city four years ago. Without neglecting the original design of the pieces, I was tearing at each side, leaving only unions in certain places to transform the old jacket on a coat eighties war. already had told them of how joyful it was my first appearance in a cultural activity in Madrid now that I'm over here. Well, yesterday evening I went to witness the closing of the 7 th Ibero-American Film Festival "La Chimenea de Villaverde. A day earlier, I could see one of the films in competition: THE OTHER SIDE , Mexican Gustavo Loza. And frankly, hoped to bring some recognition because I liked a lot. Sure, I was unable to attend the screenings and had no other references to judge. But if the winners are as endearing as I saw, it sure has been a festival of high quality.

I have also done many short films and "mediocremetrajes", so I understand that sometimes comes out well and sometimes badly. What never ceases to amaze me is that the public have voted as the best. As I could not see the other, I'll shut up ... but if, as the spectators, it was good, then how would the others! ... Or is ... perhaps the public is satisfied with things which its plot promises to be "interesting" but then have no technical and artistic rigor?. If someone saw it and liked comenteme (or fusíleme).

THE OTHER SIDE caught me after a while (less than five minutes.) The first "but" (Paste) that I put, almost without realizing it, was dictated by prejudice, as Gustavo Loza studied at the Universidad Iberoamericana (in the "Ibero" it), not (as I wanted ubiera) CUEC or CCC. I said and I stress the mea culpa: a mere prejudice that made me believe that a "strawberry Ibero" would not be able to tell with sufficient fidelity and emotion 3 stories of immigration that appears in his film, and-as I - would be far from reality, not only of a private university graduate, but even some of the students in public film careers. The poet Tomás Segovia and his partner Ma Luisa Capella, always so loving, Henry and Alexander Krauss, just as I landed, Milagros, who was astonished to see me there ... It was as if they simply had not spent years and many things had changed since I went back to Mexico more than two years.

And there was Alexander, left side-groups, right-actor of the table looking with smiling that smile, expectant also I looked . I could not help but remember the first time I sat beside him to read in public in 2001. He had been appointed some time ago director of Mexico Instituto in Spain, an official body to represent the culture and arts of our country abroad. In Madrid, I experienced firsthand the intolerant immigration policies of the Popular Party, lived days of confusion, fear and helplessness before the terrorist attacks of Atocha, Santa Eugenia and El Pozo, I witnessed popular demonstrations as "No War" and "Never Again (Prestige case)" and saw how the PSOE became the government in a wave of enthusiasm and hope for change.

Madrid interest me as much as my native city. I that a city is its people. And people, voters or not, deserves respect, respect for his intelligence, his ability to analyze and interpret their environment, respect you decide; respect to protest, denounce and express opinions about their leaders when they fail to meet fully its functions .

Madrid, which has been my home for those five years, now lives a disputed election, after the scandal sparked by the debate of candidates for the PSOE, Miguel Sebastian, and the PP, Alberto Ruiz Gallardon.

Héchenle a darling in this short film shot in 2004 in Madrid, under the direction of Jesus Amaro. It is a strange story, as it was the filming. A bit bizarre, but done with much enthusiasm and heart.
